THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled working student to join our data science and data engineering team at our Munich office.
The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Python and ML and experience with natural language processing (NLP) is a plus.

IN THIS ROLE

You will clean, transform, and analyze data using Python and Pandas
You will build, test, and deploy NLP-based machine learning models
You will develop and maintain software for large-scale data processing
You will collaborate with supervisor and the team to understand data needs and deliver insights
You will generate ideas based on the latest developments in data science and NLP

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Strong understanding of Python and experience with machine learning
Experience with machine learning, especially NLP, is a plus
Interest in emerging topics in NLP such as few-shot learning, semantic search, and retrieval strategies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Availability to work as a working student
